Ever thought about being an archaeologist when you grow up?

Come join us for a two hour workshop to learn all about archaeology at St Nicholas Priory. Become detectives as you discover the past through clues left in the ground and find out what happens after archaeologists have excavated.

The afternoon session includes:

* Discover how we conserve pottery after hundreds of years being buried
* Work out what people used to eat by clues left in the ground
* Reconstruct a pottery jigsaw from fragments that have been discovered

The session is suitable for children aged 7-12, but please let us know if you would like to bring younger or older children before booking. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.

Ticket price includes squash and biscuits. Doors open at 1:15 for a 1:30 start
