Start revving your engines because Cofton's American Car Show Weekend is coming back for another lap. Taking place at Cofton Holiday Park, near Dawlish, from Friday 3rd July - Sunday 5th July 2026, the event will welcome over 3,500 visitors to enjoy a weekend packed with classic cars, live music, entertainment, and family fun. More than 200 American vehicles will be on display, including Mustangs, Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Pontiacs, Buicks, and Jeeps.

Cofton's American Car Show is the biggest of its kind in the South West, and will be returning for its 9th year this Summer. On Saturday morning, the show kicks off with a cruise through Dawlish town before returning to Cofton, giving passers-by the chance to catch a glimpse of the stunning vehicles as they parade by. Owners can enter their cars into the judging on Show and Shine Sunday, with trophies up for grabs, including Best in Show, Cofton's Choice, Best Custom/ Hot Rod, and the People's Choice Award.

Guests can book a stay at Cofton Holidays for the weekend or visit the show for the day. A full programme of entertainment will run across the weekend, with live music, children's activities, street food, a fully licensed bar and more.

There'll be live music throughout the weekend, with performances from Glen Darren & the Krew Cats as well as tributes to Neil Diamond and Elvis. On Saturday evening, the entertainment concludes with a spectacular fireworks finale lighting up the skies above Cofton to celebrate the 4th of July.

Families will find plenty to keep the kids entertained, including movie prop cars such as the Back to the Future DeLorean, the 1989 Batmobile, Knightrider's KITT and the A-Team van. There's also a transformer who will be roaming around the showfield, plus a huge inflatable fun zone featuring bouncy castles and an assault course. Children can also enjoy balloon modelling, circus skills, face painting, and lively performances from the Cofton Crew, featuring Digby the Dinosaur. Uncle Sam will be entertaining guests on stilts throughout the day.

Four-legged family members are also welcome, with the return of the popular 'Crofts' Dog Show on Saturday afternoon. There'll be a variety of fun categories to enter and rosettes to be won.

Guests staying on-site enjoy free entry to the Car Show across the entire weekend, with access to all the entertainment and Cofton's award-winning facilities. Day visitors arriving in an American show car also receive free entry for up to two people, and all car show exhibitors can take advantage of 15% off their stay.

Day visitors can buy wristbands on the gate, costing £10 for adults and £5 for children, which gives them access to the entire weekend's festivities, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy all the activities on offer. Showgoers also have access to Cofton's main facilities, including the heated outdoor pool, high ropes course, outdoor splash pad, pump track, multi-use games area, arcade, soft play, restaurant and pub.
