Various touring and unusual exhibitions take place throughout the year in Exeter. RAMM, Exeter’s award winning museum, is the main place to visit for major touring art, photographic exhibitions and themed events.
Exeter Phoenix is the City’s main arts and multi media centre that regular features visual art displays within its four galleries. It is also home to the annual Exeter Contemporary Open competition.
Exhibitions can also be seen at various other locations including various facility buildings at the University of Exeter. The University's Sculpture Trail collection is open to all to visit, containing exhibits by artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Peter Thursby, Geoffrey Clark and Elaine M. Goodwin.
