Join novelist, sound artist and creative writing academic Ellen Wiles for a bird-themed walk around the Lower Otter Estuary, listening, watching and imaginatively tuning in to the experiences of the birds inhabiting the salt marsh through a series of creative prompts. Develop your ideas further in the accompanying writing workshop with a bird-themed soundtrack, guided by Ellen.
Clipboards, paper, pencils will be provided. Do bring binoculars if you have them.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear and bring water/snacks. The workshop will run in the Masonic Hall.
