Guy Singh-Watson, founder of Riverford, will talk about his personal relationship with food, from growing up around the kitchen table with a mother who loved to cook, to how his interest in the marriage of food and farming led to the creation of Riverford.
Guy will consider where we have gone wrong as a nation in regard to food and what we might do in order to fix it. Across the last 30 years Guy has taken Riverford from one man and a wheelbarrow, delivering homegrown organic veg to friends, to a national veg box scheme delivering to around 50,000 customers a week. There will be the opportunity to ask Guy questions at the end of his talk.
