About

Continuing our series, In the Library with , join the Cathedral Librarian for a unique opportunity to experience the magnificent Shakespeare Second Folio.

A Folio edition of Shakespeares plays first appeared in 1623, seven years after Shakespeares death. It preserved 36 plays, many of which would have been lost forever. The Second Folio of 1632 was the first real attempt to edit Shakespeares plays and has shaped how we read and perform Shakespeare today. It remains a living monument to one of the worlds greatest playwrights.

This is a small group workshop; booking is essential.
