Julie Sykes, author of the incredibly popular Unicorn Academy series (as seen on Netflix) will be talking about her new series, Luna Grace. Aimed at children aged 6+ Luna Grace deals with emotions, the challenges of fitting in, and celebrating differences.
Meet Luna Grace the girl from outer space and her mischievous moon cat Twizzle. Luna Grace and her family are settling into life on Earth after arriving from their home planet, Starbright. Today Luna is off with her family and her mischievous moon cat, Twizzle, to Puffin Island! Mum and Dad are there to study the wildlife, from playful dolphins to wily herring gulls, colourful wildflowers and - of course - puffins. But Luna has her sights set on something much rarer: a mermaid! Will she succeed in finding her prize? Or will this slippery discovery evade her?A delightful new series for young readers, about being yourself and dealing with your emotions.
Julie Sykes is an award winning author of over one hundred books for children. She loves to collaborate with other writers, especially her magical friend, Linda Chapman. Julie lives in the UK with her family and their pet wolf. When Julie isn't busy writing she likes eating cake, walking and flying on her magic carpet.
