A Life in Poems
The Bookseller magazine recently stated that, after Ted Hughes, Pam Ayres is the UKs best-selling poet since records began.
Pam started her broadcasting career at BBC Radio Oxford in the 1970s, and she has now been making the nation laugh for over half a century since 1975, when she first appeared on television. Pam will talk about her latest book, Doggedly Onward a Life in Poems, which covers the period from the 1970s to 2020s.
Recent TV appearances include two series of The Cotswolds for Channel 5, This Morning, Alan Titchmarsh, Countdown and Would I Lie To You?
