Lana Labs Exeter Open Day: Biochar, Goulash & the Future of Exchange

Lana Labs Exeter Open Day is a full-day community event at Gray's Barn, Goffin Land, just outside Exeter.

The day brings together regeneration, practical innovation, local food, community conversation, music and dance.

The morning begins in the community garden with a live biochar workshop and demonstration by Indrek, who has developed his biochar-making machine over the last four years. The session will explore how biochar can support soil health, growing, regeneration and local resilience.

At lunchtime, traditional Hungarian goulash will be served in Gray's Barn. The goulash is made with beef purchased through Lana from a regenerative farmer, connecting food, local exchange and community in a practical way.

In the afternoon, the event continues upstairs in Gray's Barn with a relaxed Lana gathering. This session introduces what Lana is, how people can join, how suppliers and customers can participate, and how Lana Labs Exeter is developing as a local place for conscious exchange, sustainability, community and future-focused ideas.

The day ends with music, dance, cakes and friendly connection.

Tea and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Camping before and after the event day is possible by arrangement.
