Leeside Project Screening

About

"Film screening of two nature informed collaborative artist films responding to Challacombe Farm on Dartmoor and the Camel Estuary in Cornwall introduced by the artists.

Join us to see the first draft of a film by Sleepwalker: Xenia Glen and Antosh Wojcik, responding to The Camel Estuary and a film of the collaboration between poet Saili Katebe and Richard Chappell Dance responding to Challacombe Farm. The projects are commissioned by Leeside: a creative collaboration between the Protected Site Strategies, Natural England and Arts and Culture, University of Exeter, running from January 2024 to July 2025.

This initiative brings together creative practitioners University of Exeter research academics, Natural England officers, and local communities of interest. They explore and articulate people and nature interrelations and associate values, aiming to encourage wider collaborations and community engagement to promote nature recovery and prosperity on and beyond protected sites.

Screening as part of the University of Exeter Green Summit 2025 [assets and wording to follow]
