Linocut Weekend

On this two-day course you will explore the ever popular and versatile print medium of linocutting. After a brief look at the development of linocutting as an art form we will cover all aspects of the practical techniques of linocutting from translating the image onto the plate, cutting techniques, registration and the multi-plate and reduction approach to creating your linocut print.
Your tutor will guide you through process over the two days suggesting which approach will best suit your image and your desired outcome.
Jeremy has over ten years experience teaching linocutting at Double Elephant Print Workshop, and has successfully guided many beginners, as well as advanced linocutters through the process.
