Hand sewing and mending; a 4 week course.
Thurs 23 April, Thurs 30 April, Thurs 7 May & Thurs 14 May 1-3pm
Week One; learn to embroider and sew on a button/bead/sequin
Week Two; Make a fabric patch from scrap fabric.
Week Three; use visible mending hand sewing techniques to embellish or conceal a hole in cotton or wool fabric.
Week Four; Swiss Darning & Sashiko: learn techniques for remaking & reinforcing your clothes.
