The Real Thing with original vocalists Chris Amoo & Dave Smith enjoyed success in both the 70's & 80's with 3 Top 10 singles. The No 1 Hit 'You to Me Are Everything' 'cant Get by Without You' & 'can You Feel the Force' and all these tracks are still featured daily on all the major UK Radio stations. They also have around two million plays or more on Spotify each month.
The Real Thing are undoubtedly still a force to be reckoned with. Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain's longest established and best loved black group in UK entertainment history. The Real Thing remain pioneers in soul, funk and dance music.
2026 is the 50th Anniversary of 'You To Me Are Everything' hitting the No 1 slot in the charts so this year is a big celebration.
