Taking place on Thursday 10 December 2026, (5.30pm to 7.30pm), the museum will transform into a glowing treasure trove of festive stories and surprises.

Wander through the twinkling galleries with a torch in hand, keep an eye out for Father Christmas, get creative by making your own festive decoration and add a little sparkle with face painting. There will also be an enchanting storytelling adventure with Clive PiG, sharing winter tales from around the world. It's a magical evening packed with festive fun and a lovely way to make special family memories.

Discover the hidden wonders of the natural world 

If you're curious about nature and the world around you, make time for RAMM's fascinating event, The Intelligence Below: New Ways of Listening to the Natural World.

Taking place on Saturday 5 December 2026, (11.30am to 12.30pm), this special artist talk with sound artist Jason Singh explores the hidden sounds, rhythms and intelligence of nature.

Discover how innovative technologies, including sensitive microphones, field recording, biosonification and spatial audio, can help us experience sounds and processes beyond the limits of ordinary human perception.

It's a fascinating opportunity to think differently about the natural world and discover the extraordinary sounds that surround us every day.
