09:00 - There are few things more tempting than the smell of freshly baked bread, so why not master the art of bread making on a course from One Mile Bakery? This fabulous Exeter bakery offers a range of baking at home classes, so that more people can bake amazing bread and bakes at home. Over the course of a fun, relaxed day, you’ll learn to bake three recipes which incorporate all the core skills and knowledge for bread-making and leave you confident to tackle any bread recipe.
17:00 – We’re carrying on with the ‘foodie heaven’ theme with the best local food & drink our city has to offer. If you haven’t sneakily eaten your freshly-baked already (although we won’t judge if you have!) it’s time for your evening meal at On The Waterfront on the opposite side of the quay, roughly a 5 minute walk away - which you can find on Exeter’s Food and Drink Trail. Here you’ll enjoy their famous dustbin lid pizzas, tapas and local drinks – all of which are popular with locals and tourists alike. Book your table - the tables fill incredibly fast!
12pm - Today is all about beer! Attend a tour of The Exeter Brewery. Tours begin with meeting in the Tap Room for drinks followed by the Brewery Tour itself, which lasts approximately 40 minutes where you’ll discover the process of making the popular beverage. Click here to book your tour!
12:40pm – Head back to the Tap for pie, mash peas and gravy and more beers of course! If you’d like to stay at the brewery you’re more than welcome to, please note drinks are charged after this period.
15:00 – Spend the afternoon exploring Exeter just a 20 minute stroll away - shop ‘til you drop within our independent shopping quarters, pop into the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum (click here to book exhibition tickets!) and take a tour of Exeter’s past with a Red Coat Guided Tour! Don't forget to book your tour here.
18:00 – We expect you still want to carry on the theme of beverage tasting! Enjoy a 10 minute stroll through the city centre and arrive at your table at The Oddfellows - an evening full of traditional English dishes with an eclectic twist awaits! This gastro bar is known for its exciting cocktails, or you can sit back, relax and enjoy a West Country ale or cider or one of their continental beers. Click here to book your table for their 'Supper Club', where you'll be presented with an exciting 6-course taster menu!
