10:00 - Walk through the doors of our magnificent Exeter Cathedral, just a few steps from Eat on the Green. Packed full of 900 years of history, this majestic building is one of the great cathedrals of England, and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture to be found anywhere. Do you have a head for heights? You’ll be thrilled to know there are special Roof and Tower tours available, providing panoramic views of Exeter and beyond – so get climbing though stairs! 12:00 – Visit Queen St Dining for a wide range of popular restaurants only a 5 minute walk away, which we guarantee will suit every taste palette! 13:30 - After seeing the inside of the Cathedral, meet one of Exeter’s famous Red Coat Guides back on Cathedral Green for a free walking tour of Exeter, with fascinating tales of the city’s turbulent history. Tours are pre-bookable in advance, click here to book.
15:00 – Spend the rest of your afternoon stepping back in time at Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum! The award-winning museum, housed in a beautiful Victorian building is also free to visit and takes visitors on a voyage of discovery from pre-history to the present day, and from Exeter all around the world. With a changing programme of stunning displays and prestigious loans and exhibitions from national partners, there is always something new to see. From Cathedral Green, you'll find RAMM after a 5-10 minute stroll - entrance to the museum is free, click here to book tickets to an additional exhibition!
