Welcome to House of Marbles, a cherished South-West attraction. Since our beginnings in 1973, crafting toys, games and marbles, we’ve evolved into a global brand. While our creations travel worldwide, our Devon base remains the heart of House of Marbles – a place where history, creativity and fun converge.
There’s always something happening to delight and inspire visitors of all ages, come rain or shine. View our online events calendar to discover workshops and family-friendly activities.
Enjoy hands-on fun with our interactive installations, including Snooki 2000 – one of the largest permanent marble runs in the UK! Set them in motion and watch marbles cascade through the intricate designs.
Discover pure artistry where expert glassblowers turn molten glass being expertly shaped into delicate works of art, ranging from small giftware pieces to eye-catching sculptures. For those wishing to explore further, our selection of glass workshops presents a rare chance for the public to learn glassmaking. These workshops cater to all levels and are available all-year round.
Situated in the heart of the old pottery buildings, our licensed restaurant offers freshly prepared dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. By evening, the space transforms into The Pottery by Night, offering intimate dinners and themed events in a cosy, atmospheric setting.
Discover exceptional gifts for every occasion at The Emporium, where every item tells a story. Explore timeless toys, gifts, stylish homeware, and authentic beauty products. For those seeking nostalgia, our marbles and traditional games bring joy to visitors of all ages.
