Joel Munday
British violinist Joel Munday performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. A dedicated proponent of music of our times in addition to the masterworks of old, Joel has had the privilege to work with composers including Pteris Vasks and Osvaldo Golijov. The 25/26 season marked Joels professional solo debut, performing a Mozart Concerto with the London Mozart Players. Other highlights included recitals with Julian Trevelyan and Sam Haywood, appearances at the Stift Festival and Two Moors Festival and a remarkable performance of Philip Glass' Violin Concerto No 2. In 2025, he was selected as a Tillett Debut Artist. He is also supported by the UK Artists Directory and Making Music. In 2024, he was one of 11 musicians worldwide to receive the London Symphony Orchestras Conservatoire Scholarship. Joels plays a violin crafted by Andreas Hudelmayer in 2024 and funded by the generosity of over 100 supporters.
Aurlien Pinchon
Born in Paris, Aurelien Pinchon began studying the cello at the age of five. His first teacher, Soizic Chevrant-Breton, gave him an everlasting love for music and teaching. After studying at the Paris Conservatoire, he moved to London to study modern cello with Alexander Chaushian and Gemma Rosefield and baroque cello with Richard Tunnicliffe and Sarah McMahon at the Royal College of Music, where he received various awards and scholarships. Aurlien is currently based in London where he enjoys a varied career as a modern and baroque cellist and as a teacher. Praised for his fine and sensitive playing, he is a most inquisitive and versatile musician. He regularly performs solo and chamber music recitals as well as being an active professional orchestral musician.
