Progressive Jazz Rock Legends Colosseum will be on the road again with a new line-up consisting of original frontman Chris Farlowe, guitarist Clem Clempson and bassist Mark Clarke. Formed in 1968 by Jon Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith after leaving the Graham Bond Organization and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Colosseumreleased their debut LP Those Are About To Die Salute You in 1969.
Later the same year they became the first act to release an LP, Valentyne Suite, on the collectible Vertigo record label who went on to release records by Black Sabbath and Status Quo amongst others. Colosseum went on to release a further two LP's before splitting in 1971. Band members went on to join bands such as Humble Pie, Atomic Rooster, Greenslade and more.
