Elephant Talk are a post-punk and goth band that emerged from Cornwall, England in the early 1980s.
Their music blends the driving, dark basslines typical of early Joy Division and The Cure with melancholic, dramatic vocals. Because very few physical copies of their 7" record ASK (Fragile Records) were pressed, original vinyl copies are highly sought after by collectors of regional UK DIY post-punk.
