Join us for Guildhall Live, a spectacular FREE three-day music festival celebrating five decades of unforgettable music as part of Guildhall Shopping Exeter's year-long 50th birthday celebrations.
Visitors can enjoy an incredible programme of tribute acts celebrating the biggest artists and songs from the 1970s through to today. With six live performances every day, the festival offers something for music lovers of all ages, taking audiences on a journey through five decades of iconic hits.
New for 2026, Guildhall Live will also shine a spotlight on the region's talented performers through Guildhall Live: Local Spotlight. Each morning, local choirs, bands, dance schools, theatre groups and community performers will take to the stage, providing a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wealth of creative talent from across Devon before the afternoon tribute performances begin.
Throughout the festival, a lively compere will keep the celebrations flowing with competitions, giveaways and entertainment between performances, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere in the heart of Exeter.
Whether you're planning a family day out, meeting friends, enjoying a shopping trip or simply looking for great live music, Guildhall Live offers a fantastic way to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend. With an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and shops on your doorstep, it's the perfect opportunity to make a day of it.
