New Level Unlocked: Discovering the Story of Video Games

About

Leading video game researchers from across the region give a behind-the-scenes talk on what makes a video game, and why we enjoy them.

Join us for a panel talk and Q and A, exploring the research behind video games - what they tell us about ourselves, our futures, and the stories we tell.

We'll be joined by Professor James Newman (Bath Spa University), Dr Richard Cole, (University of Bristol), Dr Amy Cutler (University of Exeter), Dr Rob Sherman (University of Exeter), and Dr James Sweeting (University of Plymouth), hosted by the Co-Founder and Director of Bristol Games Hub, Dr Tomas Rawlings.

If you're a video game enthusiast, or just curious to learn more, book your free ticket now!

The talk and Q and A will take place in Studio 74 at Exeter Phoenix. Food and drink is available to purchase at the on-site cafe. Please note that this event will be recorded and uploaded to our website (sound only).
