A Contemporary Circus and Music Performance.
Acrobatics company Many Hands Circus delves into the depths of human connection in a show that masterfully combines circus artistry and theatrical storytelling.
Obscure Desires weaves together spectacular acrobatics and original live music to explore the landscape of human longing.
Drawing inspiration from John Koenig’s The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, the performance unfolds across five captivating scenes. Each segment highlights a different facet of desire—from discovering hidden potential and exploring missed connections to fulfilling our fundamental need for physical and emotional belonging, and finally, embracing the wish to let go and relax.
This visually stunning production communicates through a powerful blend of movement and music. Obscure Desires creates an inclusive experience that speaks to all audiences through relatable imagery.
We communicate through the universal language of emotion in this extraordinary celebration of people.
