Raw Writing Meetup - For anyone who loves to read or write!
Come and meet a warm, creative group of people who love reading and writing at the Exeter RAW Writing Meetup.
This is a relaxed, welcoming space for writers, readers, storytellers, and anyone interested in writing as a form of exploration, reflection, and creative connection. Whether you're working on a novel, scribbling in a notebook, or just curious about writing, you'll feel right at home.
Drop in anytime – stay for as long as you like. It's very informal and open. This is a free event.
Carla Jenkins, author of the 2024 novel Fifty Minutes, teacher, and the founder of Raw Writing, will be hosting this event.
This event is for you if:
- You're a book lover curious about your own writing voice
- You've thought about writing a book or short stories, but don't know where to begin
- You're looking to reconnect with your creativity and find fresh inspiration
- You want to meet like-minded writers, readers, and creatives in Exeter
- You're feeling creatively stuck and want to try something new
Everyone is welcome — whether you're completely new to writing or have years of experience.
Raw Writing Meetups are advertised on the Meetup website where you can see our future events and let us know whether you will be attending.
