Spring Qi Gong Workshop

About

This one-day workshop will teach you the basic skills of Qi Gong - a Chinese internal art for health and wellbeing.

Qi Gong uses slow, gentle movements, combined with the breath to create a relaxed and calm state, while also supporting natural movement and improved mobility.

This workshop celebrates the changing of the seasons, moving from Winter to Spring, and we will explore Qi Gong's traditional 'Five Primal Animals' set of movements that are typically associated with this change, in Chinese culture.

This workshop is open to people of all ages and levels of experience, from complete beginners to practitioners of other arts.

We start at 9.30am with mid-morning, lunchtime and afternoon breaks. There are many cafes and shops nearby to get food or hot drinks over the day.

Our school - Internal Arts Exeter - is proud to teach these Chinese arts for health and also for developing a deeper understanding of Taoist philosophy and the internal martial arts such as Tai Chi.

We hold weekly classes and regular workshops in Exeter promoting these arts within the community.

Our school is associated with a global network of teachers which started out in China, that has been passing down teaching through family systems for hundreds of years.
