The ever popular Explorer Dome returns to RAMM to whisk you on an incredible adventure… inside our bodies! Step into the enormous dome and into a weird and wonderful world of lights and sounds as we shrink down to explore what makes us tick. From teeth and bones to mucus and blood, travel further than ever before to float inside a gigantic cell and discover the marvels of our own genetic code. Remember to pop by RAMM’s ‘Wow! Amazing science in children’s books’ exhibition to ‘flesh out’ the experience (pun intended!). Each workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes. Please arrive promptly for the start of your pre-booked time slot. Please note that, due to space within the dome, we cannot add you to another session if you miss your booked slot. Shoes must be removed, and you will need to be able to crawl through the entrance tunnel into the dome. We may be able to facilitate guests with mobility difficulties but please contact us before booking a ticket to discuss how we can help. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Information about accessibility is available on our Access page. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult
