St. Catherine's Child

About

Transatlantic singer-songwriter Ilana Zsigmond, performing as **St. Catherine’s Child,** is fast becoming one of the most captivating new voices in the Indie Folk and Americana scene. Born in England and raised between the UK and New Haven, Connecticut, her music bridges continents - blending the storytelling warmth of classic Americana with the sharp observation and lyrical flair of British songwriting.

Signed to TRO Essex Music and Shamus Records (New York) - the same publishing home as legends like Woody Guthrie, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and T. Rex - Ilana has performed to entranced audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Her songs shimmer with poetic honesty, vocal strength, and the rich textures of the band she’s built since returning to the UK in 2015.

Named after the patron saint of eloquent women, St. Catherine’s Child is the sound of lived experience told with grace and grit - heartfelt, eloquent, and quietly spellbinding.

**FFO:** Laura Marling, Phoebe Bridgers, First Aid Kit, The Staves, Hiss Golden Messenger & Sharon Van Etten
