Guildhall Exeter Live

Brighten up your Bank Holiday with a visit to RAMM's vibrant exhibition exploring the fascinating world of colour. Discover how colour shapes art, nature, science and culture through 150+ objects, from works by Hokusai, Kandinsky and Andy Warhol to colourful costumes, ceramics and ancient treasures. With interactive displays and plenty for curious minds, it’s a brilliant family-friendly day out in Exeter.

Princess Play

Daily until 31st August

Looking for some free family fun this August Bank Holiday? Princess Play transforms Exeter’s Princesshay into a vibrant playground packed with activities for all ages. Challenge the family to table tennis or mini golf, make your move at giant chess, race through hopscotch and snakes and ladders, or let little adventurers tackle the climbing equipment. It’s the perfect place to play, relax and enjoy the city centre.

Exeter Independent Market 

Saturday 29th August

Spend your August Bank Holiday browsing the Exeter Independent Market on beautiful Cathedral Green. Discover a brilliant mix of local makers, traders and producers, with everything from handmade crafts and fashion to locally produced food, drink and vintage treasures. Jazz on the Quay

Sunday 30th August

Soundtrack your August Bank Holiday with Jazz on the Quay. Head to Exeter Quayside and settle into chilled-out summer vibes, with live jazz providing the perfect backdrop to a relaxed afternoon by the river.
