The Bookery is excited to welcome back our wonderful patrons Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre for a wonderfully interactive celebration of their latest Adventuremice story, Adventuremice: Mini Mice Mayhem! , the ninth book in their bestselling and brilliantly illustrated series.
Packed with humour, friendship and glorious illustrations, this brand new adventure sees the Adventuremice visited by a class of adorable but mischievous mouselets. What starts as a simple visit soon turns into one almighty commotion, with charming chaos, sweet silliness and adorable anarchy around every corner. Young readers can look forward to another sparkling story celebrating kindness, teamwork and friendship from these award-winning creators.
Families are invited to join Philip and Sarah for a fun filled hour of storytelling, live drawing, creativity and Adventuremice mayhem. Perfect for children aged 5+, the event will inspire young imaginations while offering plenty of laughs and opportunities to discover how stories and illustrations are brought to life. Philip and Sarah will also be signing copies of the book after the event.
Philip Reeve is the bestselling, award winning author of Mortal Engines, winner of the Nestl Smarties Book Prize and Blue Peter Book Award, later adapted into a major motion picture. Alongside writing, he illustrates and creates much loved stories for younger readers.
Sarah McIntyre is an award winning author and illustrator renowned for her distinctive artwork, boundless energy and delightfully funny books. Together, Sarah and Philip have created the hugely popular Adventuremice series, winning fans across the UK and beyond.
This event forms part of The Bookery's vibrant programme of author and community events, proudly supporting the National Year of Reading 2026.
Tickets are free but due to high demand a ticket is required for each child attending. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.
