Chris Chapmans inspirational photographs, taken over a period of fifty years, give us a unique insight into the realities of everyday life on Dartmoor and landscapes further afield. In this new selection of over 230 images from his personal archive, most of which have never been published before, his unrivalled eye captures the very essence of country life and portrays the sense of belonging that runs through the heart of rural communities.
The photographs are accompanied by his personal reflections on universal themes such as childhood, conversations, farming and the countryside.
