Princesshay are inviting visitors to experience the festive joy and 'Step into Christmas'. Shoppers will be wowed by beautiful lighting displays and amazing street entertainment, with fun for all the family and where sparks will certainly fly!
Bringing festive magic to winter shopping nights, from 14th November you'll be transported to a twinkly paradise as Princesshay unveils their Christmas lights installation. Expect thousands of warm twinkly lights, beautifully decorated green wreaths, a stunning 20ft Christmas Tree in Princesshay Square and multiple ‘on the ground’ photo opportunities including Santa’s Sleigh, Angel Wings and hugely popular walk through JOY letters. Late night shopping will offer customers the chance to shop until 8pm on Thursday's from the 20th November.
Celebrating the beginning of late-night shopping at Princesshay, SPARK! will be entertaining the crowds with performances at 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm on Thursday 20th November.
Returning for its 13th year, from 14th November the Christmas Tree Festival will line Bedford Street with Christmas trees decorated by local charities.
Building on the success of 2024, Princesshay will host street food and local traders as part of the Christmashay Village, from 14th November to 23rd December. With 17 Christmas cabins located in Princesshay Square, Bedford Street and the main mall, the village will offer an eclectic mix of gifts. The Mistletoe Bar, located in Princess Square next to the centre's Christmas tree, will offer the perfect pitstop together with a mix of onsite festive street food including churros, bratwurst and Yorkshire pudding wraps.
Santa Sunday's return to Princesshay and you'll find jolly old Santa spreading festive cheer from his golden sleigh beneath the glass canopy, from 10am to 4:30pm. Families will be able to meet Santa and his elf, and receive a beautiful keepsake for the tree. Princesshay's Charity of thre Year, Vranch House, will be accepting donations (£2.50) from families queuing to meet Santa.
