Spreading lots of festive joy to visitors, Princesshay will be bringing a warm, welcoming and magical atmosphere in the run up to Christmas.
Shoppers will be wowed by beautiful lighting displays and amazing street entertainment, with fun for all the family and where sparks will certainly fly! Come and experience all that Princesshay has to offer with late night shopping and entertainment for the whole family this Christmas and New Year.
From 5pm, Friday 15 November be transported to a twinkly paradise as Princesshay unveils their brand-new Christmas lights installation. Expect thousands of warm twinkly lights, beautifully decorated green wreaths, a stunning 20ft Christmas Tree in Princesshay Square and multiple ‘on the ground’ photo opportunities including Santa’s Sleigh, Angel Wings and hugely popular walk through JOY letters. Late night shopping will offer customers the chance to shop until 8pm on Thursdays from the 28th November.
Returning for its 12th year, from 15th November, the Christmas Tree Festival will line Bedford Street with 35 real Christmas trees decorated by local charities.
From 28th November to 22nd December, Princesshay will be joined by over 25 local traders as part of the Christmashay Village. Positioned around the centre piece Christmas Tree in Princesshay Square, a rotating programme of local businesses from jewellers and crafts to candles, bakes, art, pottery and soaps will be spreading plenty of festive cheer. Princesshay are also teaming up with Lloyds Lounge to run a Christmas bar in Princesshay Square, serving up warming mulled drinks and freshly fired pizzas for visitors to enjoy during their visit.
Santa Sunday's come to Princesshay through December, and you'll find jolly old Santa spreading festive cheer from his golden sleigh beneath the glass canopy, from 10am to 4:30pm. There's also the opportunity for a photo and meet and greet with Santa for a small charity donation of £2.50, which will go towards ELF (Exeter Leukaemia Fund). Each child that meets Santa will take home a jingle bell to hang on their tree at home.

Thursday 12th December - Corvus Angellicus Walkabout Entertainment (5pm, 6pm and 7pm), plus Newton Abbot Choir (7:15pm - 8pm)
