Some songwriters create music that feels instantly familiar-as though the songs have always existed.
Originally from Somerset and now based in Liverpool, Jessie Monday pairs the timeless melodies of 1960s pop ballads with the emotional detail and narrative depth of musical theatre.
Known for her piano ballads, rock ’n’ roll tunes and beautifully observed love songs, Jessie has built a growing audience through a prolific catalogue of intimate performances and original songwriting. Her debut single, “Don’t Invite Me,” introduces an artist with an unmistakably classic sensibility and a voice entirely her own.
For this intimate 12 Bar performance, Jessie will be joined by a stripped-back band featuring vocals, Nord electric piano, acoustic guitar and bass-placing the songs and storytelling firmly at the centre of the evening.
**For fans of Carole King, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor and classic 1960s pop.**
