A brilliantly silly event that's perfect for kids aged 6+. Led by Exmouth author Chris McGuire; creator of the hilarious Crooks and Nannies series.
Chris' books follow the adventures of N.A.U.G.H.T.Y. (Nannies Against Underworld Gangsters, Hoodlums, Tyrants and Yobs) - a secret organisation taking on the world's most outrageous Supercrooks!
During this fun-packed session, Chris will read from his books, share what makes a great story, explore what makes people laugh and lead a fun discussion where kids can dream up their own spectacularly silly Supervillain plans. Because sometimes it's fun to be a baddie.
This free event is designed to help children discover that reading for pleasure can be exciting, funny and full of adventure - not a chore.
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to meet a real author and catch the reading bug!
Taking place in the Rougemont Room at Exeter Library, this event will last for around 45 mins. A fun and informal hands-on workshop, with a chance to talk to Chris, ask questions and even get a signed book at the end. Ideal for children aged 6 - 11. Parents must stay for the duration
