A friendly introductory session for young readers on the road to independence! Together we will discover awesome books, take a pop quiz to find your reading style, learn how to confidently find your way around the library, and upgrade your library card to a fresh new design exclusively for Tween Discovery participants.
Not a member of the library, that's great! Come along and we will get you set up and ready to go.
Sessions will run on Wednesdays (4.30pm-5pm) and Saturdays (10am-10.30am) throughout September 2026. Booking is strongly advised due to limited numbers.
Age Guidance: These sessions are designed for young readers age 9 - 12 years.
Please note: For safeguarding and data protection purposes, a parent or guardian will be required to remain on site at the library for the duration of the session.
