These four musicians, play all across the world as solo artists, but in 2023 formed themselves into the Isla String Quartet, at the Royal Academy of Music. They have since won notable competitions, including the Royal College of Music Quartet Competition 2025 and were finalists at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition 2025. They were announced as Tillett Debut Artists 2025-27 and are subsequently looking forward to performances around the UK in the next couple of seasons, in venues including Conway Hall, Abergavenny Theatre, Kings Lynn Festival and here with us at Music in the Castle. We warmly welcome them to the Music Room and look forward to hearing their programme which will include Debussy String Quartet in G minor, Op 10.
