To celebrate the opening of a new exhibition space in the North Aisle of the ancient church at Newton St Cyres, an exhibition of the photography of James Ravilious (1939-1999) depicting farms and rural life in Mid Devon in the 1970s and 1980s, together with contemporary photographs of farming in and around the village.
Behind the church is a large and interesting arboretum, and the village hosts an Italian restaurant as well as the well known Beer Engine pub, so why not make a day of it.
