In this hands on workshop participants will learn how to construct a bracelet. You will be taken through the process step by step and learn how to use the tools and work with wire and crystals to create a beautiful bracelets for yourself or to give as a gift.
Lila Alvarado a jewellery designer/maker who works with wire, crystals and semiprecious stones, she has been making and teaching handicrafts from the age of 15.
Lila is from Nicaragua and worked for the Nica Hope Project for 13 years as part of a successful Artisanal and Handicraft Development project started in 2008. She worked with children, teenagers, single mothers and adults from at risk communities teaching them jewellery making and other crafts, enabling them to generate income from their handicrafts.
