Humiliated in front of his son by an unusual group of surfers fiercely protecting their local beach from outsiders, an unnamed man’s life slowly unravels as he is drawn into an escalating conflict that tests his sanity and pushes him to (and over) his limits.
Set against the backdrop of an Australian coastal idyl, this trippy thriller nods to the Australian New Wave cinema of Wake in Fright (1971), another amazing Cage performance in Mandy (2018) and the hypnotic psychological classic The Swimmer (1968).
