From the Club Ceilidh team, join us for a proper village barn dance! Live folk music, big tunes, fast feet, loud laughter and glorious, joyful chaos.
Blackwater Assembly will be driving the night with high-energy traditional music, while our expert caller keeps things clear, friendly and moving. Every dance is taught as you go, so complete beginners and confident dancers are all thrown into the mix together - expect spinning, clapping, galloping and occasional confusion.
You dont need to bring a partner, you dont need to know what youre doing, and you definitely dont need to be sensible. Just turn up, follow the calls, and let the night carry you along. Dance hard, laugh harder, sit out when you need to, then dive straight back in.
This is social dancing at its best: energetic, welcoming, slightly chaotic, and completely addictive. Village hall floor, live band, everyone moving together - the kind of night you feel in your legs the next morning.
Comfortable shoes strongly advised.
