Empty red seats in a theatre

About

What does wild mean to you? For some, its the crash of waves or the howl of a wolf. For others, its the wilderness on their doorstep, or that untamed spark inside themselves.

Wild explores all these ideas and more, weaving together true stories gathered from over 70 people living in rural, urban and seaside communities. Written by Rochi Rampal and created with residents, community workers and even a mountain rescue team, this vibrant and moving piece of theatre combines live music, immersive soundscapes and powerful storytelling.

Expect tales of childhood adventures, camping on the edge of shadowy woods, encounters with tornadoes and roaring seas, and the wildness that lives inside us all.

This is a rare chance to experience professional touring theatre right in the heart of Dartmoor. Performed in traverse, the action runs down the centre of the hall with the audience on either side, bringing you closer to the action.

Show length: 70 minutes(+ 30 minutes conversation)
Age rating:11+

Parking:There is a large public car park adjacent to the hall.
