Late night shopping entertainment
Get into the magic of the Christmas season with Princesshay’s free, festive entertainment this winter.
Come along and get into the festive spirit with Late Night Thursdays, where there will be a number of fantastic street entertainment and displays to really light up your late night shopping experience from balletic aerialist flying high on a gravitating giant balloon, a glow show, , illuminated roller skating presents, a visual show, a real life snow queen in a snow globe and light walkers illuminating the streets.

Crealy Christmas Spectacular
There are nine exciting new events happening this year at the Crealy Christmas Spectacular. You can join Otto the Elf and his toy dog Rusty on their magical Christmas adventure back to the North Pole at the South West’s first ever Christmas on ice show. Head over to Mary’s Christmas bakery where you could Join Mary and her team of merry cookie makers and learn how to decorate festive Gingerbread treats. There’s even a special stop to Santa's Magical Toy Shop where you can choose a special present from over 30,000 brilliant toys and gifts.

Carols by Candlelight at Donkey Sanctuary
Sing-a-long with some donkeys this December 14 at the Donkey Sanctuary’s Carols by candlelight. There will a host of merry tunes, followed by a 45 minute Christmas carol service. Festive refreshments will be available, as well as the gift shop for lots of lovely Christmas gifts.

With hundreds of runners, joggers and walkers from across Exeter and the surrounding area taking part this is a great way to kick of Christmas 2018. and a chance to enter our 2.5km Fun Run and join in the Festive Fun by completing the course in your very own Santa Suit. Get ready for the climb of your life next Christmas, as Exeter Northcott Theatre presents a GIANT of a family pantomime for Christmas and New Year 2018/19. The team behind 2017’s ‘Simply genius’ (Devon Live), smash-hit production of Dick Whittington are back again with a HUGE adventure that’s perfect for the whole family!
This year's Magdalen Road Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 2nd December, 2 - 6pm. The road will be closed and the fantastic shops and restaurants of Magdalen Road will spill out onto the street and be joined by 50 stalls from all over the West Country.
The whole family can enjoy a brand NEW Arctic adventure on Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 December and Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 December 10am-4pm in Princesshay! Even Santa Claus himself will be joining in the fun and visiting the children (and Mums and Dads) helping to raise funds for Cancer Charity Force.

Setting the scene and adding a touch of magic to the evening's proceedings, the sanctuary in Sidmouth will be spectacularly illuminated by thousands of candles. 20 jazz saxophonists from the Saxminster Band will then begin the festive celebrations with a host of merry tunes, before the 45 minute Christmas carol service commences at 5pm in New Barn surrounded by lots of friendly donkeys – who may even join in! There will also be Christmas wish trees in The Hayloft where you can help decorate them with special messages to loved ones, friends or the sanctuary's donkeys and don't forget to purchase
Come and meet The Gruffalo in Exeter's Guildhall Shopping Centre this Christmas. The loveable character from the much enjoyed children's books written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Bring your children along anytime from 11am - 3.30pm.
