Following the success of the first - year festival, the festival organisers are well underway with their exciting plans for the 2023 Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival which takes place between Thursday 25 to Monday 29 May and encompasses the end of May bank holiday weekend.

In 2022 the festival presented an array of music talent with headline concerts featuring the UK Queen of Soul Mica Paris, Jazz pianist and composer Joe Stilgoe, Italian virtuoso jazz guitarist Antonio Forcione, Bluesman Ian Siegal, and the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars.

In 2023 you can expect a wide and varied programme which includes a selection of World – Class headline ticketed concerts with acclaimed performers, a dedicated outdoor music performance stage presenting the best local and regional bands and musicians, music workshops, outreach community projects and free music events at local venues.

The festival is already in discussions with potential artistes to perform in 2023 which include the acclaimed and multi – award – winning American Jazz singer, Saxophonist and composer Curtis Stigers, Mud Morganfield, from Chicago who is the eldest son of the undisputed king of the Blues Muddy Waters, British Jazz giant and CBE Courtney Pine, and a range of other incredible acts.
