Exeter is blessed with an abundance of fine dining restaurants and there's somewhere for everyone to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Whatever your taste buds desire, you'll find it here as we share our love for eating out and making lots of special memories.

Harry's Restaurant

Local, independent and family run, award-winning Harry's Restaurant has been gratifying appetites for over 30 years. A place to feed the soul, the family run team source ingredients from nearby farms, producers and suppliers so if it's quality dining you've come to the right place. It's all about the setting too, especially for Valentine's Day, and Harry's Restaurant sits within the iconic gothic style building, formerly Harry Hems’ 19th century architectural sculptors workshop.

Winslade Manor

Winslade Manor is offering a Valentine's night to remember where you'll be treated to a delectable 5 course tasting menu, specially designed by award winning Chef Director Matt Mason. There's also the option of sampling a carefully selected wine flight to enjoy with your food, matching each course individually. The hand dived Orkney scallop with a Champagne butter sauce and cavier will take your taste buds to heaven!

The Ivy Exeter

Neighbouring the iconic Exeter Cathedral, The Ivy Exeter certainly scores high when it comes to a romantic setting and the beautiful floral decor will live long in the memory. Their Valentine's Day set menu includes a choice of beef, lobster and coconut sweet potato curry as the main and who could resist a fruity little number as a sharing desert.

Wear Park Restaurant, Exeter Golf and Country Club

A Valentine's dinner menu created using the finest ingredients, savour every bite while basking in the luxurious ambiance of Wear Park Restaurant’s Georgian grandeur. From succulent scallops to tender fillet of beef, monkfish or tempura oysters, it’s romantic dining at its finest…and it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without a little temptation, so top it all off with a decadent dessert of passionfruit cheesecake, chocolate fondant or strawberry Bavarian cream.

Bistro du Vin

Unforgettable romance awaits and you'll absolutely love the newly refurbished Bistro du Vin Exeter. Toast the occasion with a crisp glass of Champagne and enjoy a sumptuous 3-course candlelit dinner from their Valentine’s menu (14th to 17th February). From oysters and steak tartare to sharing Chateaubriand and oh so tempting crepe suzette souffle, their Valentine's menu promises pure indulgence with a romantic twist.

Hotel Indigo

Before your meal then what could be more romantic than watching the sun set from a refined yet relaxed rooftop bar, offering fantastic panoramic views over Exeter Cathedral and beyond. Welcome to Becketts at Hotel Indigo. When dinner calls then head downstairs to Colson’s Bar & Grill where you can enjoy a unique take on contemporary British cuisine, with favourites including flame grilled smoked cod, Dartmoor ribeye and other mouth watering delights.
