Exeter is blessed with an abundance of restaurants and there's somewhere for everyone to celebrate Valentine's Day. Whatever your taste buds desire, you'll find it here as we share our love for eating out and making lots of special memories.

Harry's Restaurant

Family-run and full of character, Harry’s serves award-winning food, classic cocktails and warm hospitality - perfect for date night, celebrating together, and sharing great flavours in an intimate, welcoming setting this Valentine’s Day.

Crave

Who says romance has to be all about wining and dining over an evening meal? Throw the rule book out and gaze lovingly across a beautiful brunch served up at Crave. You'll find all your favourites on the menu, packed with fresh, seasonal ingredients that we promise you will absolutely love. You could even partner it with a cheeky little brekky martini.

The Ivy Exeter

Neighbouring the iconic Exeter Cathedral, The Ivy Exeter, with its beautiful floral decor, certainly scores high when it comes to a romantic setting. Their specially crafted three-course Valentine's Day menu is accompanied by a glass of Ivy Champagne and includes delicious offerings of Roasted Queen Scallops, Truffled Chicken Milanese, and the Ivy's signature Chocolate Bombe.

Rockfish Exeter

Fresh, local fish served up in a stunning location right next to the water on the Quayside - what's not to love about Rockfish Exeter. Amongst the bounty of incredible seafood, which includes hake, haddock, prawns and scallops, you could indulge in some oysters. They are considered to be an aphrodisiac after all.

The View at Courtyard

Take your love to new heights this Valentine's Day with The View Restaurant. A celebration of locally sourced suppliers, every dish on the menu tells a story and has been designed meticulously by Executive Chef Matt Mason. Also on the menu are stunning 8th floor views over the Devonshire countryside and coastline.

Cosy Club

Three chapters. Two people. One table. Every great love story begins with a setting and Cosy Club provides the perfect romantic location this Valentine's Day. It all starts with 'First Temptations' before moving on to 'The Main Affair' and then rounding off the night with 'The Final Indulgence' - a three-course menu (complete with cocktail) that brings romance to the table.

Dottie's at Hotel Indigo

Inspired by the building's department store heritage, you'll love Dottie's warm, welcoming setting in the heart of the city. Combining seasonal Devon produce with refined British cooking, every dish celebrates local flavour but with a contemporary twist.

Wear Park Restaurant, Exeter Golf and Country Club

A Valentine's dinner menu created using the finest ingredients, savour every bite while basking in the luxurious ambiance of Wear Park Restaurant’s Georgian grandeur. From succulent scallops to sirloin steak and monkfish, it’s romantic dining at its finest…and it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without a little temptation, so top it all off with a decadent dessert of passionfruit cheesecake or chocolate fondant.

Hotel du Vin

Share the love and immerse yourselves in luxury with an unforgettable Valentine's experience at Hotel du Vin. Raise a glass of complimentary Champagne, followed by your choice of a 2-course dinner before retiring to your room to enjoy all the glory of Hotel du Vin. For the complete package, a full cooked breakfast will then set you up for the day ahead. If you prefer to just dine out then the elegant Bistro du Vin offers an array of classical French dishes and menu options.

On the Waterfront

Nestled on the edge of Exeter's historic quayside, love is in the air down down at On the Waterfront. If we had to pick our dream date menu then we'd start by getting a little saucy with the potato bravas, before sharing one of OTW's famed pizzas, and finish off with a rich chocolate pot for dessert. You'll also receive a welcome cocktail upon arrival.

ISCA Restaurant, voco Zeal Exeter Science Park

Romantic, relaxed and made for sharing, celebrate Valentine's weekend in the company of ISCA Restaurant at voco Zeal Exeter Science Park. Serving up a steak sharing menu for two, the hearty main course is partnered by a mouth-watering fondue dessert, and a bottle of house wine to share.
