It's that time of year to treat our Dads and fatherly figures to some extra special loving. From a microbrewery and night at the theatre to a pasty and pint out at sea, we've put together some top ideas that he's sure to love and will make great memories.

Visit a microbrewery

The brewery at The Turk's Head has been pumping out beer since 2021 and this Father's Day their head brewer will be working her magic on some more tasty creations. Book yourself (and Dad of course) in for a Sunday Roast, grab a tasting board, and that's Father's Day sorted. As an added bonus there's no washing up either!

Oas-is at Exeter Phoenix

Every Dad loves a bit of rock n roll in their life so treat them to a night of Oas-is belting out all the classic tunes from Manchester's finest at Exeter Phoenix on Friday 13th June. The only tribute to tour with a full video show, using some of the same equipment and visuals/footage that Oasis used on their tours. Some might say Oas-is are definitely, not Maybe the best tribute out there!

On The Waterfront

Here's one less drink for you to buy. Treat your loved one this Father's Day with a free Jameson Old Fashioned at On The Waterfront. Neat, nostalgic, and on the house, it will go down rather well partnered with one of OTW's renowned pizzas or you could even share their large 'dustbin lid' offering.

Beatles Complete

How about a ticket to ride and a night of Beatlemania with the Beatles Complete at Exeter Corn Exchange. Packed with massive hits from the most influential band of all time, this Liverpool based ‘beat combo’ are the youngest ever Beatles band to gain a residency at the Cavern Club in Liverpool. It certainly won't be a hard days night enjoying this performance!

Pasty and pint cruise

Sailing on the calm assured waters of the River Exe, what better way to show your Dad, how much he means to you than spending time out on the water with a delicious pasty and a pint on board Stuart Line Cruises. Setting sail on Sunday 15th June, enjoy a mouth watering pasty (meat and vegetarian options) washed down with a refreshing cider, beer or glass of wine. For those who prefer a clearer head, and for the kiddies, there's also a selection of hot and soft drinks to choose from.

St Sidwell's Point

Everyone loves a bit of pampering and R&R, Dad's included. Treat Dad to a relaxing break he deserves with Father’s Day Spa Package at St Sidwell's Point. Enjoy a tranquil 3-hour experience in the thermal spa, featuring a sauna, steam room, hydro pool and much more to discover.

Canonteign Falls

How about spending the day with your Dad wandering amidst stunning waterfalls, ancient woodlands, and Victorian gardens across 90 acres of stunning Devonshire countryside. Canonteign Falls is the perfect place to spend the day with your dad on Father’s Day. The best part is that Dad's go FREE for the whole weekend when accompanied by their paying child (big or small).
