Join us for Bangla Cultural Fest 2026: Celebrating Bengal, Connecting Cultures, a vibrant evening of live music, dance, arts, food, and cultural exchange at Exeter Phoenix on Sunday, 25 October 2026.

Organised by BAAUL, with support from Inclusive Exeter and Exeter City Council through the City Grant, the event will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Bengal while creating a welcoming space for people from different cultures and communities to come together, connect, and learn from one another.

At the heart of the festival is the idea of cultural mingling. Alongside the celebration of Bengali music and arts, community members from Bangladeshi, Nigerian, and Filipino communities will host cultural stalls, giving visitors an opportunity to explore different traditions, clothing, arts, crafts, and cultural heritage. The stalls will create an informal space where people can meet, have conversations, ask questions, and discover more about the diverse cultures represented within Exeter.

The evening will feature a lively programme of live music, dance, and artistic performances, bringing Bengali culture to the stage through both traditional and contemporary forms. Through music and the arts, the festival aims to create an enjoyable shared experience that can be appreciated by people regardless of their cultural background.

From 5:00 pm, visitors can explore the cultural and community stalls, meet community members, and enjoy the atmosphere before the main stage programme begins at 6:30 pm in the Exeter Phoenix Auditorium.

Bangla Cultural Fest is therefore more than a performance event. It is an opportunity for communities to mingle, share their cultures, and learn from one another while celebrating the diversity across Exeter. Food, music, arts, cultural displays, and conversation will offer visitors different ways to engage with cultures that may be familiar or entirely new.
