Join us for a relaxed morning and be entertained by an eclectic mix of local theatre-makers and performers as they try out new ideas and close-to-complete sketches on you, a lucky audience! Share your thoughts and be part of the process as vibrant new work-in-progress performances are brought to life.
Excellent performance emerges from a process of testing, polishing and ship-shape-making before it goes public. Scratch events offer performance makers of all kinds an opportunity to share an idea wriggling around in their mind, or something very close to ready, with a real-life audience.
As an audience member, it means you can peek behind the curtain and be part of bringing a work-in-progress performance to life. It might be silly, funny, or outrageous. It will definitely be fun! And it'll give you and the young people in your life a taste of how something brilliant gets made.
