Adapted from the beloved novel by Tove Jansson, The Summer Book is a beautifully observed drama about family, loss and the quiet power of nature. Starring Glenn Close, alongside Emily Matthews and Anders Danielsen Lie, the film follows young Sophia as she spends a summer on a remote island in the Gulf of Finland with her father and grandmother following the death of her mother.
