Treat Dad to an exciting Father’s Day on Sunday 17th June. From thrilling activities to tasty treats, Exeter has endless ways to say ‘thank you’ to your Dad.

Spoil Dad with a delicious meal at The Cosy Club, where all Dads will be given a free pair of slippers with a main meal! Book a table at The Wear Park Restaurant at The Exeter Golf and Country Club, who are serving a three-course menu for £25 or a two-course menu for £20. Alternatively, book a table at Las Iguanas where all Dad’s will receive a free bottle of Brahma beer when they order a main course.

Is your Dad the adventurous type? Why not book a visit to Go Ape at Haldon Forest Park, you could even grab a bite to eat in the forest’s café before you climb the trees or put together a picnic and enjoy the views.

Enjoy a ‘Day out with Dad’ at Grammarcombe Woods, where their event ‘A Touch of the Wild’ involves den building, camouflage face painting and an obstacle course. Perfect for young families.

Whatever the weather in Exeter on Father’s Day, you’re guaranteed a great time at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre or AS Watersports at Exeter Quay. Hire a paddle board, kayak or canoe and explore the River Exe like never before. If you don’t fancy getting geared up in a wetsuit and life jacket, hire a bike at Saddles and Paddles for a leisurely cycle along the canal and Exe Estuary!

There are a number of events taking place on Sunday 17th June in Exeter. If your Dad likes comedy, then a ticket to see Tim Key at Exeter Phoenix might be an ideal gift. Westpoint Arena hosts the 2018 BHP Fuel Festival with live demonstrations and displays with modified cars and motorcycles… the ultimate Father’s Day out!

The RAF's Centenary Celebration takes place this year; RAF 100. Between 15th and 17th June, celebratory activities will take place at Exeter Airport to mark their long association with the RAF. Expect military memorabilia, static displays including two RAF 100 Aston Martins as well as interactive showcases. Another Father's Day idea for all of the family!

You don't need to spend a fortune to show Dad you care, Exeter has plenty of free things to do which will get your family outdoors for some fresh air. Walk around Exeter Quay, head to one of the many picnic spots within the city or visit The Royal Albert Memorial Museum.
