This August, Exeter Phoenix, Positive Light Projects and Make Tank are hosting Summer Art Camp, a programme of over 30 creative events in Exeter with something to offer for everyone – accessible to all ages, all abilities and all experiences.
The programme includes a wide variety of workshops, film screenings, free events and creative social get-togethers. More events including music and cookery are still to be announced!

Why not take time out to cultivate your inner ‘staycation art student’ by learning something new, or brushing up on your existing skills, in one of the ‘Inspired By’ workshops, taking inspiration from artists’ unique approaches. 10.30am - 4pm.

FREE! Sketch in the Park @ Northernhay Gardens
Head outdoors to explore Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens for artistic inspiration. Work in watercolour and ink to create a series of your own sketches. Materials provided or bring along your own to work from. Tuesday 9 and 23 August, 10.30am - 1pm.
FREE! Studio Socials @ Exeter Phoenix
You can share your own projects and connect with other creatives in a free Studio Social session led by artist Sophie Berger. Tuesday 2 and 16 August, 10.30am - 1pm
Art for All Ages
There is a huge range of family-friendly activity going on at Exeter Phoenix, from art classes in the studio to drop-in activities, competitions and all-round summer silliness!

Positive Light Projects and Make Tank are independent local arts organisations, supported by Exeter Phoenix. Positive Light Projects focuses on creative community engagement and Make Tank provides an additional performance platform for the city alongside space to generate culture, making them the perfect partner venues for this activity.
